1. ACEH COCOA FORUM (ACF) – Manager

General Project Information
Swisscontact (SC) has been engaged by the World Bank through Economic Development Financing Facilities (EDFF) project to implement a comprehensive project namely “Peningkatan Ekonomi Kakao Aceh” (PEKA). The project, aiming at improving the cocoa sector in Aceh, will focus on the rehabilitation of aged cocoa gardens, intensification of production, improving quality of production, and better post harvest processing. One of key intervention under PEKA Project is Aceh Cocoa Forum (ACF) facilitated and institutionalized. Currently, SC has received mandate from UNDP-APED Project to continue the development ACF until March 2012. Therefore, SC is in need for qualified persons as full time employees for managing the daily operational of ACF toward its sustainability.

Position Description
Position title: ACF Manager
Report to: ACF General Secretary
Based in: Banda Aceh
Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract (six months with possible extension)

Summary of Job Description
Summary of ACF Manager’s job description are as follows:

* Organize and facilitate regular meeting, workshop, and conference
* Prepare monthly report of ACF Activities including its financial report
* Develop Standard Operational Procedures of organization that reflect transparency and accountability
* Promote and represent ACF in any related events
* Supervise work and provide guidance to ACF Admin/Finance
* Collect and maintain important statistic data regarding Aceh Cocoa
* Travel within Aceh or outside Aceh as required
* Perform other duties as may be assigned by ACF General Secretary

Required Qualifications and Experiences
The ACF Manager should have the following qualifications and experiences:

* University degree (S1) in agriculture, development studies, economics, management, social sciences, business administration other relevant academic discipline.
* At least 3 years of progressive working experience in program management positions, preferably in an international organisation.
* Good knowledge of programming and financial/administrative procedures.
* Have experience in organizing and facilitating seminar, meeting, workshop, or conference.
* Preferably with good knowledge in cocoa development, both in terms of production and business of cocoa.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications (minimum of word, excel, and power point).
* Excellent English and Bahasa verbal and written communication skills.
* Professional and committed to pursue and complete complex assignments.

Summary of Job Description
Summary of ACF Admin and Finance Assistant’s job description are as follows:

* Ensure that all cash transaction recorded properly with authentic receipts.
* Pay all expenses incurred from business operation with approval from Manager.
* Deposit income (or cash) from business to the bank or in the cash box at office.
* Prepare financial report for Manager and/or Business Supervisor (PMI).
* Advice Manager on financial condition of ACF as necessary.
* File document related to finance.
* Ensure all guest or customers informed regarding ACF.
* Answer calls and providing information related to ACF.
* Prepare letter and perform all secretariat works including filing system.
* Report to Marketing staff on monthly basis or when required.
* Organize and facilitate regular meeting, workshop, training, and conference.
* Collect and maintain important statistic data regarding Aceh Cocoa.
* Travel within Aceh or outside Aceh as required.
* Perform other duties as may be assigned.


Required Qualifications and Experiences
The ACF Manager should have the following qualifications and experiences:

* Under Graduate (D3) in management, secretariat, business administration or other relevant academic discipline.
* At least 3 years of progressive working experience of similar position, preferably in an international organisation.
* Good knowledge of financial/administrative procedures.
* Have experience in organizing seminar, meeting, workshop, or conference.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications (minimum of word, excel, and power point).
* Excellent English and Bahasa verbal and written communication skills.
* Professional and committed to pursue and complete complex assignments.
