Job Vacancies at ActionAid Australia

The ActionAid Australia (AAA) and Keumang Foundation partnership under the finance of the Aceh Economic Development Financing Facility (AEDFF) on Improving Competitiveness of Aceh Cocoa Value Chain ,to increase Farmers' Income, Create Jobs and Alleviate Poverty based in Banda Aceh, Aceh Province is currently recruiting the following positions:


PROCUREMENT OFFICER (Re-Advertisement*)
The Procurement Officer (PO) is responsible for the procurement of goods, works and services. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the PO will prepare RFQs and contracts under World Bank and Government of Indonesia (Gol) procurement regulations. She/He will coordinate closely with Keumang Foundation to ensure that all procurement matches the required specifications and timeframes.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position; Experience with World Bank/MDF and Gol procurement regulations highly desirable; Minimum Bachelor's degree in economics, trade, finance, law or related fields; CIPS or similar qualification highly desirable; Strong communication skills; Strong reading, writing and speaking in English desirable.


FINANCE OFFICER (Re-Advertisement*)
The Finance Officer (FO) is reporting to the Finance Manager and responsible for daily transaction entries into MYOB or similar accounting software, the handling and verification of expenses and supporting documentation and has to ensure that expenses are coded correctly. He/She has to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, cashflow projections and expenditure reports. Preparing documentation for regular internal and external audits is also an objective for the position. in addition, the FO has to work closely together with our implementing partner's finance department.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role with a minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Excellent MYOB (or similar finance software) and MS Excel skills are essential; Familiarity with Gol financial guidelines highly desirable; Experience in an auditor role highly desirable; Good reading, writing and speaking in English desirable.


TRANSLATOR / PROJECT ASSISTANT
The Translator / Project Assistant (TPA) provides support to the Senior Management Team of AAA. He/She is responsible for the translation of documents, correspondence and reports from Bahasa indonesia to English and vice versa. The TPA is also required to verbally translate conversations, speeches and discussions. In addition, the TPA is required to write minutes of meetings, assist with drafting of correspondence and reports, filing and other administrative work.

Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal English language skills are essential; Previous experience in a similar role is essential; Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential; Previous administrative experience in a Project Assistant, Personnel Assistant, Office Manager role or similar is highly desirable; Minimum Bachelor's degree in a management or business related field is highly desirable.
