The United Methodist Committee on Relief, Non-Governmental Organization (UMCOR-NGO) (www.umcor-ngo.org) is a not-for-profit organization that provides transitional development and relief assistance to communities in need around the world. UMCOR-NGO’s Indonesia Mission (UMCOR-Indonesia) is looking for :

- Post : Drafter at UMCOR - NGO Indonesia

- Location : Bireuen

- Reports to : Field Coordinator

- Coordinates with : Engineer Team

- Duration : 3 (Three months) with possibility for contract extension

General Position Summary:

Drafter will be responsible for Design and Draw the bills of quantities with
technical specifications, including tools and rehabilitation/construction
works, set up a purchase planning and prepare the required documents for theUMCOR-NGO Indonesia purchase process for the Income Generation and Water Supply Project.

Essential Job Functions:

In collaboration with the engineering team, he/she will:

- Conduct field assessments for construction of infrastructure facilities
(such as: warehouse, drainage channel, water tower, piping system, and
public hydrant)
- Based on field assessments, produce technical designs, AutoCAD
drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and other related
technical documentation, for construction of infrastructure facilities.
- Assist in organization of data collection, including especially:
topography, sketch map of the existing
- Submit timely and accurate reports
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor


Qualifications:

- Computer literate, with high proficiency of AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and
Microsoft Office 2003/2007.
- Having diploma or bachelor degree in architecture or civil engineering
- Experience in designing infrastructure facilities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work in English of both reading and writing.
- Available to work full-time for three months.
- Ability to complete all required activities in a professional manner,
while maintaining the integrity of all information acquired.
- Able to speak Acehnese and Bahasa Indonesia.
