PRD0010 ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION
Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical – Power Engineering or Engineering Physics.
• Certified of Competency for Frontline Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from DEMR is an advantage. • At least five year’s experience in engineering design and construction in mining, heavy industry, or EPC company.
• Must have solid experience working in each phase of electrical project engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• K3 Ahli Listrik certified is desired.
• Good command of CAD software - AutoCAD (Microstation is an advantage).
• Good understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation Industry standard: IEC, NEC, AS/NZS, PUIL, ISA.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (PLC/DCS) system. • Good knowledge of Project Management.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
• Strong safety standard and commitment.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
Job Description
- To perform Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Design and Project Execution for Project Development/ Engineering Department.
- Comply with all PTNNT Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as well as those required under the Decree of the Ministry of Mines and Energy Number 555.K/26/M.PE and the Decree of the Ministry of Mines and Energy Number 1211.K/008/M.PE/1995.
- Comply with all SHLP, Environment and Social Responsibility requirements under Newmont Asia Pacific Integrated Management System, Newmont vision and values.
- Prepare work schedule according to identified tasks.
- Where appropriate perform design and engineering in own discipline.
- Work with other discipline lead engineers and designers to produce drawings, specifications, and other deliverables necessary for plant upgrades, modifications and repairs.
- Provide technical support to operations, maintenance departments and other engineering disciplines.
- Operate computer to process work using approved engineering software and MS Office programs and use email, in performance of duties.
- Where appropriate prepare drawings using Micro station (and / or other) CADD drafting package.
- Ensure all work is carried out to comply with Company, National and international (where appropriate) technical standards, and to PTNNT health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain a safe and neat work area and report defects, incidents and unsafe conditions.
- Coach others in the performance of their engineering tasks.
ISY0611 SR. SPEC - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience as the project manager.
• Strong knowledge of IT Project Management and Project Management Framework.
• Excellent in English (Excellent in communication (oral) and writing (presentation).
• Certification in the Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an advantage.
• Master Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering would be an advantage.
• Strong team leadership skill. Ability to communicate, motivate and supervise staffs.
• Ability to cope and thrive in high pressure and deadline oriented project environment.
• Experience in planning, strategy, business process, and methodology development.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas as well as think strategically.

- Provide project management support for all capital and non-capital projects.
- Communicate project performance results in project status reviews with various level of management.
- Identifying and developing project management methodology, best practices, and standards.
- Monitoring projects compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates via project audits.
- Managing IT projects portfolio.
- Monitoring and reviewing IT Capital Expenditure; includes coordinating IT capital projects with the company business planning.
- Involve and assist IT on the development of its operating and capital budgets.
