
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking applications for a Finance and Administrative Officer to join the KOMPAK Team based in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality administrative and finance support with regards to the implementation of the Accessible Quality Services (AQS) portfolio of projects and activities, with duties that include (but are not limited to):
- Responsibility for ensuring team requests to purchase goods, accommodation and travel are fulfilled on time.
- Identification and selection of the most appropriate suppliers to fulfil purchase requests, raising efficiency and achieving greater cost effectiveness.
- Overseeing the team needs regarding office supplies and ensuring that stock control is managed to allow purchase requests to be fulfilled quickly.
- Processing supplier invoices in accordance with the Operations and Finance Manual.
- Supporting the AQS team in preparing for and carrying out events (workshops, training seminars) in the regions.
- Developing and monitoring activity and event budgets, proactively providing updates and checking in with team members on their disbursement rates.
- Assisting team members to prepare activity budget forecasts and processing budget advances for projects and activities.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations (COB) team, especially the finance team regarding monthly financial reporting and with the preparation of forecasts.
The successful candidate will hold at least a Diploma III in a relevant field of administration, finance, or accounting and have demonstrable experience (minimum 3 years) in logistics, administrations, contract development, procurement and contract management. You’ll be detail oriented, have good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills with fluency in both English and Bahasa. Working experience with, and proven knowledge of, Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines will be an advantage.
