STABILISE ACEH'S FUTURE ENVIRONMENT (SAFE) PROGRAM ENDLINE EVALUATION -
ACEH.
Save the Children has been implementing Stabilize Aceh's Future
Environment (SAFE) program which is three-year food security program
that targeted 220,000 people (40,000 households) in the post
conflict-affected areas of Pidie and Bireun districts (covering74
villages in 6 sub districts). The program has 3 components -
health/nutrition, agricultural production and microfinance with the
following objectives
* Increased use of key maternal and child health and nutrition
practices and services,
* Increased use of improved food production and marketing
practices, and
* Increased use of micro-credit and business development services
The program seeks expression of interest for individuals or institutions
from Indonesia to under take endline survey with a purpose of assessing
the extent to which the program objectives, outcomes and impacts as
stipulated in the program document and the monitoring and evaluation
plan were achieved besides identifying lessons learnt and
recommendations for future programs.
The assignment will involve collection of both qualitative and
quantitative data, analysis and writing of final report (English). This
is planned for 20 working days and is expected to start around 10 May
2010.
