Title: Health Specialist, Posyandu

Summary of the Post:
This post will be actively involved in the development and improvement of programmes for Child Survival in three selected districts (Aceh Besar, Aceh Jaya and Aceh Timur) as well as in Aceh and Nias Island. The incumbent will be expected to develop and introduce related guidelines and strategies and conduct assessment, analysis, coordination and advocacy as well as provide technical assistance to ensure, maintain and sustain the operations of 159 Posyandu Plus services.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

* Master degree in Public Health, Communication, Social Science or Community Development. International Course/Training in inter-disciplinary approach in Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education and Child protection issues is an asset. Proven experience in advocacy, development of Posyandu strategy and its operation;

* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience working in Public Health, Social Budgeting, Community Development or Community Participation;

* Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required. Knowledge of Acehnese is an advantage.

* Understanding of local government policies, guideline and regulation on health development is a must.

Title: Health Specialist, Immunization

Summary of the Post:
This post will provide technical responsiveness on achieving increased in coverage and the concomitant budget-release by the local government; provide technical assistance on Routine Immunization, Measles mortality reduction , BIAS strengthening and MNT elimination programs; strengthen coordination and collaboration with identified partners at province and district level, advocate implementation of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) in the province and involve in development of provincial and district health strategic plan 2010 – 2014.

The focus will be on coordination of activities to ensure sustained effective technical support to improve both coverage and quality of immunization services and to ensure active integration of EPI in Child Friendly Package of services delivered via Posyandu Plus.

Profile of the ideal candidate:
* Medical Doctor or Master degree in Public Health.
* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in related field of experience dealing with community-based programme in public health, immunization, maternal and child health. Excellent knowledge on development of immunization programme.
* Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required. Knowledge of Acehnese is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Government administrative regulations would be an asset.
