Vacancy at TDMRC (2 Positions)

TDMRC – Syiah Kuala University under DRR-A project is seeking young talented professionals to fill in the positions below :

1. DRR Trainer (1 Person)


Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in education or other relevant background
2. Minimum three years of relevant experience in the disaster risk training area
3. Has strong motivation with experience on project education
4. Strong service orientation, motivation and willingness to take initiative.
5. Knowledgeable on the disaster risk reduction policies, institutions, agencies involved, on- going initiatives within province, country and region an advantage.
6. Excellent oral and written English.
7. Excellent inter-personal communication, negotiation and diplomatic skills.
8. Strong service orientation, motivation and willingness to take initiative.
9. Ability to work within budgetary constraints and time pressure
10. Experience working in an international and multi-cultural environment
11. Ability to meet deadlines; working independently and as part of a team to achieve targets
12. Proficiency in MS-Office

Responsibilities:
1. Identify the training target that need capacity building in the area DRR, such as government staff, NGO, local culture institution, CBO, private sectors, etc.
2. Design and assess the DRR training needs of government agencies, I/NGOs, donors, media, academic institutions, etc.;
3. Based on the felt need and potential opportunities, design, develop and deliver trainings, workshops, meetings, seminars, etc. in areas related to DRR;
4. Enhance education and trainings based on proven science and information technology in the field of DRR;
5. Assist the process to establish strategic relationship with related government department
6. Prepare the TOR of activities under education division
7. Develop networking among Division to formulate integrated and interdisciplinary research and sustainability
8. Prepare and submit monthly activities reports to Advocacy, Education and Training Division Manager in timely manner.


2. Clerk (1 Person)

Kualifikasi:
1. Sarjana S1
2. Minimal satu tahun pengalaman PRB atau pemberdayaan masyarakat.
3. Memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan baik.
4. Pengalaman dalam penggunaan komputer dan paket perangkat lunak Microsoft Office dan Internet.
5. Motivasi tinggi dan berkemauan kuat.
6. Siap bekerja dibawah tekanan
7. Mampu bekerjasama dalam teamwork
8. Mampu bekerja menyelesaikan target yang sudah ditentukan (deadline)

Deskripsi Kerja:
1. Menyiapkan draf TOR kegiatan dan Peralatan yang dibutuhkan, alat tulis dan bahan-bahan untuk kegiatan
2. Melakukan kegiatan pelatihan
3. Menyiapkan draft laporan kegiatan.
4. Membantu setiap pelatihan dan workshop dilakukan oleh divisi Pendidikan.
5. Mengerjakan setiap tugas lain yang diberikan oleh divisi Advokasi, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan.
