ActionAid Australia (AAA) is looking for candidate base in Aceh Besar to be starting in five month project activities. The project activity is pertaining with waste management program related to land farming clearing project. The following position offers qualification and responsibility as below.Project Officer (2 persons)
Responsibility
1. Assisting the Project Manager in carrying out field tasks
2. Supporting the project team in implementing project activities, specially conducting land farm activity and supporting and related duties
3. Perform meeting and accommodated community for farming activity
4. Coordinated, manage and arrange community facilitator in day to day activity
5. Provide list of equipments work for community tool work
6. Facilitate relationships between ActionAid Australia and target community
7. Perform monitoring regularly and prepare weekly progress reports to Project Manager
8. Arrange an overview of project/program activities, deadlines and report them regularly in team meetings
9. Assist in the recording and writing of results in each activity undertaken
10. Assist in planning, coordination and documentation of meeting, capacity building/training, and other documentation of meetings
11. Run assessments and surveys in close cooperation with the Project Manager
12. Preparation and implementation of project activities
13. Assist in evaluation of project and program activities regularly in relation to project results
14. Assist in and/or carries out other tasks, as assigned
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar waste management program and community development program
- Minimum is Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, management, or related field
- Experience in livelihood projects in Aceh province working with local partners highly desirable
- Former experience is in pertaining with developing program with community in Aceh Besar is highly desirable
- Experience working with NGOs in Aceh is desirable
- Excellent in Acehnese conversation is highly desirable
