Personnel Qualification for:

Programmer (1 Position)
DRR-A TDRMC

Specification:

- Minimum bachelor degree in computer science or other related fields
- Has been experienced in programming or related works for at least 3 years
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both verbal and writing
- Able to use Fortran, C++ and related languages
- has been experienced to work with computational fluid dynamic works or related works for at least 1 year
- has been experienced using SOBEK and Delft3D or other similar software
- has been experienced to work with tsunami and flood related hazards
- Able to work within groups
- Willing to work overtime as needed or asked by Applied Research Division
- Highly committed to support all TDMRC programs to reach its long term goals


Tasks:

- To assist DRRM to analyze Aceh disaster risk mapping project
- Using and developing computer programs to solve problems related to tsunami and flood.
- To conduct simulation and update numerical modeling for tsunami and flood hazard
- To follow the new methodology on the numerical modeling of the related hazards
- To conduct runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
- To compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions,
inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
- To write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
- Mensimulasi kontigensi plan dan mengembang-kan premograman di bidang banjir dan tsunami
- To report monthly to Head of Applied Research Division of TDMRC
- To assist Head of Applied Research Division in gathering information related to hydro meteorological hazards.
