Vacancy at TDMRC - Public Relation Assistant

TDMRC – Syiah Kuala University under DRR-A project is seeking young talented professionals to fill in the positions below :

Public Relation Assistant (1 Position)


Requirements/ Qualifications :

1. Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Business Administration or any other relevant field
2. Minimum 2 years of Public Relations experience
3. Ability to work within budgetary constraints and meet deadlines
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural and a multi-institutional environment
5. Excellent oral and written business communication capability
6. Proficiency in using standard Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
7. Excellent oral and written English capability
8. Self motivated, able to work with limited supervision, strong leadership potential, and initiative


Job Descriptions :

1. Manage mass-media contact list and other databases
2. Initiate and maintain good relations with mass-media representatives and organizations
3. Plan and coordinate meetings and events involving mass-media representatives and organizations
4. Assist with the drafting of speeches, letters, presentation materials, and official responses to inquiries
5. Assist in maintaining proper communication with TDMRC’s partner organizations and institutions
6. Assist with the drafting of press releases and other public announcement and promotion materials
7. Assist with the drafting and production of TDMRC’s Newsletter and reports
8. Liaise with all Divisions and units of TDMRC for securing feedback, inputs, and needed materials
9. Assist with the planning and coordination of meetings, Expo, seminars/ workshops & other events as needed
10. Maintain and report personal record of daily office duties
