About the Job:
Mission/Purpose of the work
- Contribute in making the campus life in Darussalam more inspiring and fun by creating, organising and promoting music/cultural/training events that make students inspired and happy
- Promote Rise Up Coffeehouse as a hip and friendly student centre with high quality services where students can have fun, good time, good food and drinks and find great inspiring and creative events.
Terms of Reference:
Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and implement a promotion campaign strategy with specific targets and planning
- Promote and market Rise Up Coffeehouse to the student population in Darussalam and other potential customers
- Build relationships with student associations, student clubs and student communities
- Build relationships with potential sponsors, banks, university teachers, newspapers, etc.. that can contribute with Rise Up in future activities
- Represent Rise Up with various stakeholders such as local authorities, associations, etc...
- Design regular promotion materials such as flyers, posters, etc...
- Update and manage Rise Up facebook page and communicate and engage with Rise Up fans
Event Organising
- Organise and promote regular events that contribute in Darussalam campus life and respond to student needs. The events can be music events, cultural events, artisitics events and training events
- Find ideas for new creative event ideas in collaboration with students and encourage the music/art/cultural life in Darussalam
- Coordinate with music bands/artists/teachers/student
Assistant Manager:
- Compile and send Rise Up Activity Report (financial information on Excell and activitiy report on Word) to Rise Up Manager
- Represent PT. Rise Up and Rise Up Manager with stakeholders (local authirities, head of village, bank, etc... ) when necessary
- Supervise the general activities in Rise Up and report to Rise Up Manager on regular basis
- Contribute in developing the future strategy and planning for Rise Up in collaboration with Manager
- Assist Rise Up Manager in any needed management activity
Qualifications:
- Experience in Promotion and Event Organizing
- Experience in Management and Team Leadership
- Relevant Education background
- Strong Communications skills
- Very good English
- Interest in cultural and training activities
- Good computer skills (Ms. Office, internet, photoshop)
- Good administrative and financial skills
- Have own laptop to use for work
- Familiar with Syiah Kuala University and Syiah Kuala students
- Willingness to learn new strategies and skills and to grow professionally
- Basic commitment for at least one year
