Islamic Relief (IR) through World Bank funded aims to develop an integrated marine fisheries project that will provide better sustained livelihoods and can be replicated in line with the objectives of Economic Development Financing Facility (EDFF). This project will be done in line with multidimensional studies to integrate economic fishing activities with social, cultural, and environmental considerations. The main goal of this sub-project is improving coastal community prosperity through integrated marine fisheries management and better market access. This project will be implemented with Partnership of Aceh Ocean Coral (AOC), a local NGO. Islamic Relief seeks to hire committed and experienced persons for the following positions:
LOGISTIC AND ADMIN OFFICER
Based at : Simeuleu Office
Range of salary : IDR 3,5 – 4,0 million
Overall Responsibility:
Responsible tomanage office daily operation and ensure procurement process running smoothly and comply with Islamic Relief and Donour policy and procedures
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
2. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
3. Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
4. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
5. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
6. Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route
7. Reserving airlines ticket, transportation support, and accommodation for official guest and staff which is assign for official journey
8. Arranging and recording daily office vehicle order and movement
9. Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
10. Open, read, route, distribute incoming mail and other material, prepare answers to routine letters, and make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
11. Prepares, on own initiative, correspondence, reports, evaluations and justifications as required on general administrative or specialized tasks that may be of a confidential nature within assigned area of responsibility;
12. In addition to general administration responsibilities, may also supervise directly or indirectly, activities concerned with office and ground maintenance, security, transport and similar services.
Necessary qualifications:
· A minimum of 3years experience of working for an international NGO.
· Minimum diploma degree in any related field from reputable university
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Excellent skills and knowledge of Windows, Office and Internet applications.
· Flexible, patientand problem solving.
· Ability to work on your own initiative as well as a part of a team.
· Sympathetic with aims & objectives of Islamic Relief.
· Energetic and able to operate in situations which may be arduous
