ActionAid Australia in Indonesia (formerly Austcare)is an international anti-poverty agency, working in over 40 countries, taking sides with poor people to end poverty and injustice together. ActionAid Australia in Indonesia under the Aceh Economic Development Financing Facility Program through our project “Improving competitiveness of Aceh cocoa value chain to increase farmers’ income, create jobs and alleviate poverty” is urgently looking for a highly motivated, dedicated, strongand experianced individual for this position:
1. Position : Project Officer
Base : Banda Aceh
Report to : Project Director (PD)
Contract duration : 12 months
Start date : ASAP
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Implement, Monitor and Evaluatetheproject in accordance with ActionAid Australia and EDFFprocedures
* Effectively administer ActionAid Australia projects, TOR and partner information systems in accordance with ActionAid Australiaprocedures and guidelines
* Ensure project Activitiesare completed on time and within budget
* Ensure changes to project budget, schedule or activities are recorded in a timely manner
* Conduct regular monitoring field trips and provide the PD with monitoring reports in a timely and accurate manner
* Provide honest and accurate recommendations to the PD regarding actions taken in the field
* Ensure that lessons learned and recommendations from monitoring and evaluation are recorded, implemented and inform future program development
* Develop ActionAid Australia’s partnerships and ensure that capacity building strategies are implemented for partner and the community and provide/source training as appropriate
* Represent and promote Actionaid Australia in relevant forums as directed by the PD
Knowledge, skill and experience required:
· Committedto ActionAid’s vision, mission and values
· At least3 years of experience and knowledge with INGO and NGO in a relevant position
· Knowledge in project management cycle
· Experiance working with partner organization
· Knowledge on cacao is an advantage
· willing to travel to remote area
2. Position : Internal Auditor
Base : Banda Aceh
Report to : Project Director (PD)
Contract duration : 12 months
Start date : ASAP
Specific Responsibilities:
· Risk Management Reviews the strategic priorities and activities of the program to assess and identify potential risks to the organization
· Working with management to prioritise the risks and provides advice and guidelines to management and staff on development of risk management frameworks at different levels, including during annual planning process
· Coordinates the development of a program level risk register and ensures that all programme and support units have risk registers
· Reviews the implementation of the action points in the risk register projects Audit Planning, Implementation & Reporting
· Prepares annual audit plan according to the risks identified in Action Aid Australia and units risk registers
· Carries out value adding and risk based audits in Units/Functions and partners organizations at least once a year to verify adherence to Action Aid Australia and donor policies and procedures, and laws and regulations of Indonesia
· Carries out physical checks on projects to verify existence and status of outputs in relation to reports
· Reviews financial records and other reports, systems and controls maintained in ActioAid Australia offices and partner organisations
· Carries out physical verification of assets and reconciles with records maintained in the offices
· Liaises with External Auditors
· Contributes to social audits
· Responds to audit requirements by Unit and partner in good time
· Undertakes investigations on frauds and irregularities at management requests and as follow upon regular audit findings in ActionAid Australia and patrner
· Produces timely audit reports to Project Director with recommendations aimed at strengthening the overall control environment
SystemsImprovement:
· Advises management on systems and procedures requiring improvement
· Follows upon management actions on audit findings, recommendations and how audit issues are concluded
· Raises awareness of audit processes, purpose and audit findings to staff and other stakeholders
· Attend various forum in the organization in order to understand systems and methodologies well
· Supports and monitors implementation of the ActionAid Australia and EDFF Procedure
Knowledge, skill and experience required:
· Committed to ActionAid’s vision, mission and values
· At least5 years of audit experience
· S1 Degree in Accounting
· Have certificate QIA (Qualification Internal Audit) or PIA (Professional Internal Audit) is an advantage
