Consultant Vacancy: TDMRC Marketing (Business Plan)
Taking the role of the Aceh government think tank, Tsunami Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC), Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH) supported by DRR-Aceh project is expected to provide products and services related to disaster aspects of the development rightfrom planning up to the implementation process. Further, these products and services will need to be provided to any stakeholders engaged in disaster risk reduction effort at local, national and international level.
Considering the above fact and information, it is envitable for TDMRC to start generate their future reveue to help sustain itself and to ensure the centre operate smoothly and the function is delivered efficiently. It is decisive for TDMRC to develop, test and implement their marketing plan.
In brief, the comprehensive marketing plan should be able to guide TDMRC to identify possible revenue streams, establish linkages to the revenue streams as well as to have an appropriate approach to sell their products and services. This defined mechanism will enhance TDMRC in marketing the demanded Disaster Management/ Disaster Risk Reduction products and services
To support this initiave, TDMRC will hire a well experienced consultant. The consultant is expected to establish a comprehensive marketing plan and strategy by incorporating several important aspects into TDMRC marketing plan such as identification of range of products and services could be provided by TDMRC in regards to its roles and functions, demand and supply analysis of DRR products and services required by diversified DRR stakeholders at national and international level, Pricing test, production cost and other related costs, types of business approach, comprehensive marketing strategy, customer satisfaction, study on existing marketing capacity and proposed capacity development in the area of marketing.
Objective:
The overall objective or output of this assignment is to develop TDMRC comprehensive Marketing and promotional strategy and plan.
