Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting applications for the USAID Indonesia Forestry and Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS), a 4-year project designed to reduce the threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of Indonesia conserve the country's tropical forests, wildlife, and ecosystem processes.
Forest Private Sector, Finance & Trade Advisor (1) (Jakarta)
Lead sustainable economic development activities. Identify and develop low carbon economic development activities, partnerships with natural resource-based enterprises, sustainable agriculture, and business development to improve practices to lower carbon emissions and impacts on biodiversity. Requirements: At least 15 years of private sector, business and marketing chain development related to forestry production, forest products marketing, chain of custody certification practices. Proven experience in business development policy, licensing regulations, and capacity building for small businesses. Strong bilingual skills (English/Indonesian).
Livelihoods & Community Development Specialist (1) (Jakarta)
Lead efforts to engage communities to improve their livelihoods and their capacity and commitment to sustainable forest management. Requirements: Proven experience in raising rural incomes through small and medium enterprise and achieving behavior change and at least ten years of local community development experience. Strong bilingual skills (English/Indonesian).
Partner Coordinator (1) (Jakarta)
Under the direction of the COP, coordinate with USAID/Indonesia FOREST partners and associated US government agencies to identify synergies and track progress; coordinate with GOI project counterparts; manage secretariat responsibilities for USAID/inter-ministerial advisory committee. Requirements: 8 years of experience in management, complex organizational relationships, and networking and comfort in working US Agencies and support bilateral cooperation. Strong bilingual skills (English/Indonesian).
Regional Manager (Tapaktuan, Aceh Selatan) & Regional Manager (Katingan, Central Kalimantan) (2)
Responsible for the overall implementation of activities in their designated region.. Supervise a technical team and ensure that the team implements work plan by coordination of its activities with stakeholders and designated partners. Requirements: At least 10 years' experience in the technical area, in depth knowledge of the region. Strong bilingual skills (English/Indonesian) preferred.
Deputy Regional Manager (Ketapang West Kalimantan) & Deputy Regional Manager (Asmat, South Papua) (2)
Directs project activities and represents the USAID IFACS project in one of two regional landscapes implemented by a regional office Represents project to district level GOI, communities, private sector and other stakeholders; oversees project assistance and activities within the associate landscape; and coordinates day-to-day office and technical operations. Requirements: (same as RM description above.)
