Swisscontact Indonesia is currently implementing a large cocoa production program in Aceh and Sulawesi is recruiting the following position for the project extension in Aceh and Sulawesi:
JOB TITLE: HR Manager
PROGRAM: Sustainable Cocoa Production Program (SCPP)
WORKPLACE: Program main office in Medan, North Sumatra
SUPERIOR: Program Director
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Manager’s job entails providing practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction and advice to other division managers on HR procedure, policy, best practice, employment rewards, benefits, and legislation to facilitate in achieving the objectives and targets of the program. The HR Manager performs human resources management performs tasks related to recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, career development, or retirement of program staff. The HR Manager also develops, updates, and maintains personnel policies, policy manuals and employee handbooks as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Organizing and conducting employee recruitment and selection programs includes the progress report and its filing system;
- Conducting new employee orientation program on changes in benefits, project manual, diversity, and other training and development programs;
- Liaising with recruitment team on salary levels for existing and prospective staff consistent with organization market conditions and policies;
- Ensuring the process and maintenance of personnel files includes payroll data, benefits and compensation packages, annual leave, and its database module in HRIS;
- Developing personal policies, maintaining and updating policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed;
- Providing pragmatic and consistent guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance issues;
- Receiving employee complaints and acting accordingly to resolve them;
- Compiling and managing case management documentation, accompany and support managers;
- Briefing the other managers on the policies and procedures of an organization in conjunction with development and learning team, providing coaching to managers on difficult and complex issues;
- Reviewing and revising HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation;
- Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education : University Degree in related field
- Experience : Minimum 3 years experiences in a similar position,
- preferably in INGO
Specific technical skills:
- Ability to complete given assignment accurately with minimum supervision;
- High sense of personal integrity, loyalty, discretion, initiative, judgment, and attention to detail;
- Ability to influence and persuade senior management level;
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work and willingness to work extra hours;
- Good command in English and Bahasa Indonesia (Written and oral communication);
- Advance computers skills in Microsoft Office.
