Lowongan Kerja IOM

IOM Indonesia is looking for one Supply Chain Coordinator according to the terms of reference below. Position Title : Supply Chain Coordinator
Classification : Employee, G5
Duty Station : Takengon, NAD - Indonesia
Type & duration of contract: Special All Inclusive Contract, 3 months with possibility of extension

General Functions:

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Indonesia and the direct supervision of the Project Manager in Banda Aceh, the successful candidate will be responsible to support the project

In particular, he/she will:
1. Ensure the overall project management and the timely implementation of activities and reporting.

2. Assure the strengthening bussiness of Arabica Specialty Coffee clustersand Developing an integrated of Coffee Cooperatives Network System, The Receipt Warehouse System (WHR’s), auction market and Institutional specialty coffee center/institute .

3. Supervise and ensure the related reporting and guide the implementation of the Coffee Cooperatives Network System, The Receipt Warehouse System (WHR’s), Auction market, and Institutional specialty coffee institute and nursery.

4. Ensure that all activities of the project are coordinated and overlap between activities is avoided.

5. Serve as liaison between IOM at the local provincial and national levels for the purpose of ensuring transparency and cooperation between the involved parties, i.e. in particular District Government of Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah, BAPPEBTI, Banks and the EDFF.

6. Assist related local entities and provincial government in planning, formulating, implementing and monitoring of projects and activities;

7. Provide technical assistance, as required, to concerned government bodies and IOM implementing partners engaged in the provision of assistance to the Specialty Coffee Arabica Gayo sectors.

8. Prepare quarterly progress reports detailing activities undertaken and results achieved.

9. Perform such us other duties as may be assigned


Desirable Qualifications:

Master degree in management , Marketing or agriculture with minimum 5 years working experience or and equivalent of training andworking experience in progressively senior positions in bussines or agricultural specially accses to finance and market development. Ability to work independently. Experience in monitoring, control and surveillance and / or cooperatives , linkage with, Bank warehuse receipt system and auction market systems development willbe considered an asset.In-depth knowledge of principles of supply chain and bussiness commodity development as well as their application in Indonesia.

Skillsand languages :Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong writing, analytical, communication and computer skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and in the field. knowledge of Acehnese ais an advantage.

Fluently in English and Bahasa Indonesia both verbal and written
